JOHN BOOKER-VARLEY

Born in Singapore in 1962 with a paint brush in my hand.
All I can ever remember doing from childhood is Draw and Paint.
I am entirely self taught and have many of my paintings in private collections around the world.
My artwork was to start with very tight and detailed. But as I’ve got older my style has loosened up and become more expresive.
Paintings are done both Plein Air and in the studio in charcoal, Oils and Watercolour.
