Born and bred in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire, Ric became a well respected wildlife artist and illustrator before beingcommissioned to carry out work for Yorkshire Television.
In 2000 he became a freelance artist and although stillexhibiting fine art in galleries across the Country, he has nowbecome renowned for his scenic work. Using techniques and specialist knowledge he is able to replicate the smallest image to a large scale mural whilst maintaining intricate detail.
His portfolio includes museums such as Royal Armouries, National Railway Museum, Tower of London and Castle Museum in York. He has also completed work for restaurant chains including Zaap, pubs and themed venues.
