Brian Irving
Born into a faeming family in Bolton Abbey, Wharfdale. He married early and started a farming himself at Storriths for 25 years.
He was a popular milkman in Ilkley until 1975 when he decoded to indulge himself in full-time painting after experimenting and working at home in paint he joined Bradford Art Club which helped him greatly
His interest was sharpened by early English watercolour masters, such as De Wint. Brian is very adept at creating watercolour landscapes but where he really excels is in the portrayal of farm life in the 1980’s.
